It was pretty relaxed and direct. They started with a screening, and then there were two more rounds with the program director and the area manager. It went smoothly. The process included a background check and then an offer.

After being selected, a director reached out to me. The interview began with a discussion about my interest in the role and an overview of the responsibilities. I then shadowed a current counselor and a group of clients. Following that, I was given a quick tour of the property by golf cart. After that, I had to sign some forms and complete an online screening called the Diana Test, and was directed to an online platform for more paperwork if I wanted the job. Remember to wear walking shoes because you might get a little dirty, and be ready to be around clients and observe them.

The video interview was pretty simple. If you have the certification, the job is pretty much guaranteed. They asked a few questions about my past experiences. They seem to hire a lot because they have high turnover. They also said that salary is not negotiable, so you have to accept whatever they offer.

Behavioral Group

It started with a phone interview, then an in-person interview on-site. They will put you in a group setting for a few hours, and then ask the kids if they have anything to say about you once you leave. Don't worry, the organization is desperate for employees, and they are flexible on your qualifications.
