It was pretty easy. I talked about myself and my experience with logistics. There were 2 phone interviews. The first was with a recruiter, mostly behavioral questions. Then I had a phone interview with the Branch Operations Manager and a new Operations Manager. They asked a couple questions and I was immediately invited for an in-person interview. The management seems young, and while it might be nice to work with them, they've only been with the company for a couple of years and don't have much more experience than I do.

I really liked the questions asked that were tied to my own experience. The whole process was easy and casual, making the chat feel real and interesting. You can tell the company cares about its candidates, which says a lot about their leaders and the people who work there. All in all, I got a good feel for a company that’s really about its employees and making a supportive place to be.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The whole interview thing took a while because my home is in Ohio and their offices are in Chicago. It kicked off with a phone chat, then I went to their office for a one-on-one meeting. The last step was a final chat with the sales director, which was the toughest part. They threw in some tricky questions to mess with me. The office vibe was super professional, with everyone busy making cold calls.
