We started with a friendly hello and some chat to make you feel comfortable. Then, you got to showcase your background and what you're good at, and we asked more about why you're interested in this role. We paid attention to how you carried yourself, and we wrapped things up with some final thoughts and a handshake.

I applied online via the company website and heard back about a week later for a phone chat with the hiring manager. He was really nice and professional, and seemed to value my time. After that, they invited me to come for an in-person interview, which was an all-day thing! I met with a bunch of different people from the team, doing about 4 rounds that were each an hour long with 2-3 people in each. Everyone was super warm and welcoming. It felt like maybe too many people to meet with, but it showed how ECC really values everyone's input on important decisions. After the last interview, I talked with the hiring manager again about salary and benefits. I got the job offer pretty quickly after that.

A recruiter from ECC first reached out. We had an initial phone call. After that, the estimating manager interviewed me over the phone and then invited me to their office. There, I had a 1:1 with the manager, the program director, and two program managers. Then I met the whole estimating team, around 10 people. The estimating manager took me to lunch to discuss the day. Back in the office, we talked about salary and benefits. I got the offer about a week later.

it was pretty thorough - you had to teach a lesson you were given to a group of people who were also interviewing. you just needed to be able to follow directions and keep an eye on the time. there was also a grammar test that was pretty tough - it covered things like passive voice, parts of speech, punctuation, and spelling. lastly, there was a one-on-one interview.
