This was a very thorough interview. Robert was very professional and asked questions specific to the job. Then, there was a follow-up interview that included a coding assignment where I had to develop a mock-up landing page within 24 hours. Overall, it was a great interview experience.

So, this firm is a consulting one, and they hire people to work on client projects. The whole process has two parts. First, they'll share some company info and chat about your background. The second part is the main interview with a manager. After that, if they pick you, you'll be put on an unpaid bench until they find a project for you.

Behavioral Other

It was a pretty straightforward process. First, there was an HR phone screen, and then I was invited for the final onsite interview. It was definitely quicker than at other places in Austin, which was nice. My interviewer onsite seemed very business-focused, not someone who seemed to enjoy the workplace much. While that management style might work for some, I personally prefer working with positive people and not those who mainly use intimidation. But I don't know him personally, so maybe that's just his interview approach. Besides that, the company and employees seemed great.

It was a two-part interview. First, I had a phone interview with HR where we discussed my understanding of the role and the company, went over my resume, and covered the job duties. Then, there was a virtual interview with the VP of Data via ringcentral. During that call, I was asked some random questions, like he was thinking of them on the spot. Overall, it was a good experience, and everyone was respectful and easy to talk to.
