Internal Communications Manager
The interview process started off as pretty typical. The initial screening went well, followed by a couple of other interviews, which I expected. After that, I followed up a few times and they just kept me 'warm' with calls that felt unnecessary, mostly asking if I had any more questions. I reached out again after not hearing back, but then got ghosted after they strung me along for over two months. It was a really disappointing experience, and I wish there had been more transparency and respect shown to me as a candidate.

Web Developer
A recruiter reached out on LinkedIn and set up a phone interview, but they never called. I followed up two hours late, and the recruiter got back two days later saying she was sick and wanted to reschedule. The next week, she called, and I moved to the next stage. However, the developers never called. I messaged the recruiter again about missing the developer call, and we rescheduled for the next day. The developer phone interview went fine. After that, I had a technical interview. Since I was really new to coding and this was my first technical interview, and with the whole stressful process, I didn't perform well. It felt like a lot of wasted time, but I did learn some things. My advice is, if an interview process is super disorganized, and interviewers don't show up, don't send a message, and don't respond for days, it's probably best to just move on.

Marketing
I was contacted by a recruiter, but they didn't know the salary and couldn't confirm anything about it. I initially applied for one position but was recommended for a different one. The interview process involved three rounds, and the team seemed nice. Since the company is relatively new, there's not much direction or structure. It's been over two weeks and I haven't heard back, despite multiple attempts to contact the recruiter. The recruiter, who was initially very persistent and communicative, suddenly became unresponsive. After three weeks, they finally reached out, informing me they had moved on with another candidate but wanted to stay in touch due to my industry experience and the growing team. They made a big mistake, as finding talent with my specific experience in this specialized industry is challenging. They had several roles I could have excelled in easily. As a growing company, they should seize opportunities to hire experienced people. I wouldn't waste my time interviewing with them again. Typically, when companies can't confirm basic details, they tend to be disorganized, unreliable, and unable to make sound decisions.

Event Manager
I got an email to set up an interview, which was a phone screen with HR. A few days later, they emailed again to set up another interview via Zoom. Even though I didn't get the job, it was a really good experience. The HR person called me personally to let me know I was one of the top two candidates but they went with someone else, and they gave me feedback on why. It's nice because so many companies just send generic emails these days, so I really appreciated the personal call and the feedback.
