First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Eberjey.
Marketing Coordinator
It was a pretty easy process, but it did take a while for them to decide. The questions weren't super hard, and I liked that they seemed interested in learning more about me.
- What are your greatest strengths?
Assistant Manager
The interview process for this Assistant Manager role involved 2 phone calls with HR, followed by 2 Zoom calls with the General Manager of the retail location, and concluded with a Zoom call with the VP of retail. This entire process took nearly a month. After the final stages, HR stated they needed another week to decide and would email me with the outcome. However, I never received the email and had to call HR the following day. She then gave a vague excuse, implying they had offered the position to another candidate and had kept me as a backup. This experience felt far from transparent, and ultimately, I did not get the job. It's understandable to not get a job offer, but it's not okay for a company to exploit a candidate's vulnerability during the hiring process. Based on HR's lengthy responses elsewhere, it seems they might not have time for 'unnecessary' emails.
- Can you describe your entrepreneurial spirit?
- How would you handle responsibilities in this role given that there's no commission pay?
Digital Marketing Manager
Had a couple of rounds. The first one was with the head of HR, and it was more about seeing if I'd be a good culture fit. The second round was with the hiring manager, and it was to figure out my skillset and experience. I didn't get past that second round.
- Can you summarize yourself in three words?
Marketing Specialist
It was a short interview, focusing more on personality than skills. Since it was entry-level, the questions were about enthusiasm and work ethic. We didn't delve too much into previous job experiences because of the entry-level nature.
- How would your previous experiences be valuable to Eberjey?
