I had a call with the hiring manager for about half an hour where we talked about my skills, past experience, and daily tasks. Then I was invited for an onsite interview that had 4 rounds. I had a couple of rounds with senior engineers, then with the director and product manager, and finally with the hiring manager. After that, I was called in for another onsite interview with 3 more rounds. I thought I was pretty much done, but they asked me to speak with another manager in a different location.

A recruiter initially contacted me by phone to discuss my resume for about 20-30 minutes. After reviewing my background, she outlined the upcoming interview process and mentioned I would receive an email to schedule interviews. The process was divided into two parts, with two different people scheduled to call me on separate days for an hour each. The first round was non-technical, focusing on discussions about their work and my past experiences, and a thorough review of my resume. The second round involved technical questions, one of which I couldn't answer due to nervousness. The interviewer then gave me his email and three coding questions, asking for the answers within 20 minutes. It took me an hour to complete them, which I believe was a setback.

I had a recruiter call first. Then a phone interview with someone from the team. He asked me QA questions and about my past projects. After that, after 3 weeks, the recruiter told me I had to write some Java code and send it. Then I had my face-to-face interview. The first part was with the same person from the phone interview. He made me walk around a lot because he couldn't find a room. Once we found one, the interview started with 'tell me about yourself' and then more Java questions. He made me stand at a whiteboard and write code. I told him I'm a QA and don't know much Java but could explain the logic. He was texting on his phone while I was explaining. He wasn't polite at all. Then a woman interviewed me. I thought she might be nicer, but she was worse and made faces while I answered. The main issues were that I applied for a QA role but only got Java questions and coding, and they were very rude.
