Technical Coding Case Presentation

Got an online assessment with some data analysis and one SQL question. After about two weeks, I got an interview invite. Then I had two 45-minute interviews back-to-back. I talked to my internship manager and another team member. They asked me about my resume, SQL, probability, and AB testing. I also got a case question in the second round.

I had an online coding test that was timed, and I passed that. Then, the first round was a 60-minute online one-on-one interview. It was mostly questions about my resume, and also some business questions related to the position. It was mostly technical or experience-based questions. I didn't move on to the second interview.

Technical Behavioral

I went through the interview process for the Data Scientist role at eBay in Bengaluru, and it involved 3 final rounds. After finishing all the rounds, I haven't heard back from the hiring team at all, even though I've followed up multiple times. It's really disappointing to experience this kind of poor handling from a well-known company like eBay. They should at least provide some feedback or closure, given the effort candidates put in by going through several rounds. This ghosting after the final stage reflects badly on their hiring and company culture. I wouldn't advise anyone to waste their time on these kinds of disorganized and unprofessional hiring events.
