I had a really bad experience with the recruiter. The interview had four rounds. After the final panel interview, they said I'd hear back the next week, but it took two weeks for the recruiter to even email me for availability. I gave them some times, but they never responded. They still kept my calendar blocked though, just in case. No one ever called me. I followed up the day after, and the recruiter ghosted me. The job posting on LinkedIn was super misleading; it said it was entry-level, but as I went through the interviews, it became clear it was much more. I was okay with that because I had the actual experience they needed. It's weird how there was such a disconnect about the role internally. The team was great, though. It's frustrating to have your time wasted when they don't even follow up or communicate.

We kicked things off with an initial HR phone chat where they asked usual stuff like 'walk me through your resume', 'why this school?', 'what's your take on our culture?', and 'your thoughts on work travel?'. Then, there was another phone interview, this one focused on analytical thinking with questions about time, distance, and probability. The final interview was face-to-face, involving a business scenario, a case study review, and questions about managing people and teams.

I applied online and got an email from the recruiter a few days later, requesting to do a phone screen interview with her. About 2 weeks later, I contacted the recruiter again and was selected for 2 phone interviews; one with a local manager and another with a manager in Asia. Several days later, I was asked to come in to the local office for an in-person interview with a manager and team member. I received feedback that the interviews had all gone well and they requested that I do a Skype interview with a manager in Europe. After that, the communication ceased. I received no more feedback and my inquiries were not responded to. On Christmas Eve I was sent a denial email, in French (which I don't speak). Overall the experience was positive, but it ended on a bad note - which tainted the entire process. I think they chose a poor day to send bad news and I didn't appreciate that it was in a language that I do not know. It showed a lack of attention to detail and empathy.
