The whole process took a few months. First, I spoke with a recruiter, and then I had interviews with three members of the department I was applying for. It was a very simple and conversational experience. They asked me to talk about my resume, but mostly they listened to my job requirements and what I would be doing on the job. There were no curveball questions. The recruiter got back to me with a decision within a week. This was followed by fingerprinting.

It was a typical interview process, I talked to 4 people. There were some written tests and an excel test. To be honest, I was a little disappointed. The questions were boring and not behavioral at all, which made the company seem stagnant and not innovative. Also, I had a foreign language on my resume and on the day of the interview, they told me I'd have an interview in that language, which was unexpected and would have been nice to know beforehand.

Eaton Vance came onto campus and I had two first round interviews for two different positions. Both of the interviews went very well; they asked questions more related to me as a person and my past experiences than quizzing me on any knowledge or any specific question about the firm.
