General Manager
Overall a good experience , very straight forward . We went through my experiences , background, and reviewed expectations of the role . In addition to salary and benefits . Process took around 3 weeks from initial application , phone screen , two interviews with store director / senior director
- Can you describe your management style?
General Manager
I had an initial chat with HR over the phone. Then, I had an in-person interview with the hiring manager and the director of HR. After that, there were a few more interviews. The culture here is very Italian. If you already speak Italian, you've got an advantage. There isn't really a set structure for the interviews; it all comes down to how they perceive you.
- What can you bring to Eataly?
Assistant General Manager
This was a terrible interview process. After 8+ interviews, I received a written offer letter, but then the hiring team ghosted me. It's been over a month and I still haven't heard back. Their communication was awful and they were super disrespectful to candidates.
- Can you describe your temperament?
- Tell me about your experience in the food industry.
- What is your management experience like?
