Member Engagement Specialist
The interview starts with an initial stage, and who interviews you depends on who is available. After the initial stage, your credentials are sent to the Operating Manager, who will then decide if you're hired.
- What were your expectations for our company?
Sales Representative
It was a pretty quick and easy interview. There were two rounds in total. The potential OTE looked a little hard to reach while working there. They asked some basic, expected questions.
- How would you explain technology or a difficult task to an elderly individual?
Technical Recruiter
The interview process was quick, consisting of 3 rounds with different executives. The conversations were ambitious, intense, and hard-hitting. I enjoyed them but I don't think they felt I had enough experience. I really liked what they were doing but it wasn't a fit. It's possible I priced myself too high. Also, I didn't get a response from the Director of TA after following up twice, which was disappointing.
- Are you smart or clever?
Sales Representative
I had a typical recruiter phone screen, then talked to a sales manager who was very enthusiastic. He said they'd be in touch about next steps, but then there was silence for over a month. I reapplied for the same job with an updated start date since I hadn't heard back from the first interview. This led to another recruiter call. I mentioned I was still waiting to hear back on the original interview. She said she needed to check with the original sales manager for feedback before continuing. After she got back to me, she let me know they wouldn't be moving forward with my candidacy.
- Could you sell me something in the context of your current sales job?
