First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Eastman.
Account Manager
It was a fast and structured interview, very aligned to the job description. The process of interviewing and onboarding was good. People focused on my professional skills, and the benefits are good.
- What makes you want to work at Eastman?
Account Manager
I was contacted by a recruiter and corresponded with Eastman for 4 months about an account manager position. After a few interviews, they asked me to do a sales roleplay with materials provided 24 hours in advance. The roleplay felt like an old-fashioned attempt to make a candidate 'hard sell' a client, and it was super awkward and outdated, like a 'sell me this pen' type of interview. After this, I'd be hesitant to apply to Eastman again.
- I don't have much time, can you quickly convince me to buy your product?
Account Manager
I went through 5 interviews, but I ended up declining the offer because of my German language skills and relocation status. I'm not happy with how the hiring process went. They should have assessed my language proficiency and relocation situation at the start, not after all the interviews.
- Have you ever lost a customer?
