First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Eastland Food Corp.
Brand Manager
The interview focused on your experience and soft skills, and included a conversation with the CEO. It was a good experience overall. There were about 3 rounds of interviews. Good luck!
- Tell me about your previous role.
Inventory Associate
The interview process was straightforward. I spoke with both the logistic leader and the inventory team leader, and they were both very approachable and gave clear explanations about the different roles. Overall, it was a positive experience.
- What value can you bring to the company?
- How do you handle challenging situations?
- Tell me about your data analysis skills.
Brand Manager
First, HR called to ask about my background and then scheduled an interview. I interviewed with the MKT director and the company owner. It was a very open interview, not typical. After I introduced myself, they asked about my past roles and experience. Then they let me ask a lot of questions about their business.
- Can you introduce yourself and explain why your MBA concentration was project management instead of marketing?
- Could you elaborate on the differences between your previous industry and our company's industry?
Sales Representative
The interview process is pretty standard with common questions. However, it's a bit unrealistic that they require a bachelor's degree for a sales position. The manager seems to favor Vietnamese candidates and discriminate against other races. They prioritize Vietnamese applicants even if you have experience and fully match the job description.
- Would you hold your manager responsible if the company failed to deliver products to customers on schedule?
