I applied for the job by dropping off my resume, cover letter, and official transcripts in person. Then I got a call to schedule an interview. I met with a panel twice and with administration once. There was also a skills test where I had to answer basic advising questions. After that, they called me with an offer, and I met with HR to finish the paperwork before starting.

First up was a committee interview, where they asked a set of prepared questions. After that, we had a Q&A about the job and what the responsibilities entail. Then, I had a second interview with the supervisor, who also had pre-written questions. This one was a bit more laid-back and was recorded on video and audio.

We also covered my availability and the amount of work I'm looking for. They brought up some potential changes in the department and asked for my thoughts or any recommendations I might have.
