First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Eastern Kentucky University.
Administrative Assistant
It was very long, like my princess's, the one who eats milanesa, on the table. I don't have any more rhymes, hey you uh, minimum 30 words, I can't even reach that bro, I don't know what else to put.
- This is a lie, I need to see something.
Admin Staff
The hiring process was really drawn out, it took more than three months from when I applied until I got an interview, and then another two months after that to get a verbal offer. They didn't give a written offer or even an email one. I was also told straight up not to bother asking for more money because the budget at EKU is completely tapped out.
- What kind of questions were asked related to the job?
University Professor
Librarian
It was a day and a half faculty interview with campus stakeholders, and I had to give a presentation. They reimbursed my expenses, though I stayed with family nearby. EKU people ask direct questions, and the interview is really a two-way street. It's important to research beforehand and ask questions of your interviewers. There are some nice places to eat in Richmond.
