First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Eastern Health.
Allied Health Assistant
It took them a long time to get back to me with the final results. It was a group interview, so make sure you stand out from your peers. Written and cover letter otherwise.
- How would we manage time?
Occupational Therapist
It was a long and thorough interview process, which was great for getting to know the candidates. Interviewing with this large government organisation was a positive experience. The job application was competitive, especially for new graduates.
- How do you demonstrate cultural competency when interacting with individuals from diverse backgrounds?
Allied Health Assistant
It was a group interview with 9 people and 2 interviewers. It was very chill, but you did need to bounce off each other. This was the only interview along with a cover letter and resume that was looked at prior. Getting the job after the interview took 2+ months
- How do our values connect with the duties of this position?
Nurse
It was a fine, standard interview. They asked predictable nursing questions, focusing on teamwork and clinical scenarios relevant to my expertise. There were two interviewers, and it involved a lot of writing with not much expression or interaction from them.
- Can you tell me about a time you experienced a conflict and how you handled it?
