I had a phone screening with HR first, and then went for an on-site interview. The whole interview part was pretty quick, like 10 to 15 minutes, but the entire hiring process took about 4 weeks. They asked typical behavioral questions, about my past jobs, what I knew about the company, if I had any banking experience, and my future career goals. One person was pretty intense during the questioning, while the other just sat there smiling. It was a pretty average interview experience, and I got the impression they're just looking for people who will do the job.

Got contacted by an external recruiter on LinkedIn. The recruiter was friendly and worked around my university schedule to set up an on-site interview. I then interviewed with the FVP at the San Francisco branch. We discussed every detail of my resume, which was a bit challenging as I hadn't prepared for that level of detail. The recruiter mentioned an online assessment would be sent by HR. It's been about 3 weeks since the FVP meeting and no assessment has arrived. I also heard they had my email address incorrect, which seems unprofessional. Since it's taking so long to get the assessment, I'm not sure they're interested, and honestly, I've lost some interest too. This job seems very similar to a bank teller, and I've heard some negative feedback about EWB's customer service.

I put in my application online. About a week later, a recruiter called me. She asked some stuff about why I'm interested in the bank. After about 10 minutes, she set up a formal interview with the manager. That interview was an hour long, and the questions were pretty standard. They offered me the job the next day.
