First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust.
Healthcare Assistant
The interview was good, they tried to make you feel comfortable which is nice as normally it’s a very nerve wracking situation and they tell you right there whether you get the job or not.
- What would you do if a patient was confused or aggressive on the ward?
Pharmacist
The interview had 2 interviewers, who were senior clinical lead pharmacists from Hastings and Eastbourne. They shared the questioning during a single, 30-minute interview. The interview covered Trust Values, strengths and weaknesses, a time working in a team, and examples of clinical intervention.
- Could you tell me about the trust values?
- What are your strengths and weaknesses?
- Describe a time you worked effectively within a team.
Management Role
Had a short presentation and a relaxed interview with a sensible number of questions. Got an offer the same day. However, dealing with HR afterwards was painful, they sought a ridiculous number of references and really pestered me and my referees and were very petty about minor issues.
- How would you approach a project relevant to this role?
Research Assistant
It was a good experience, I spoke with two interviewers who were nice. The questions were mostly technical, fitting the job description. It was a 30 minute interview. They let me know the results and gave me feedback.
- What is the p value?
