Customer Success Manager
The overall process was fine. It started with a recruiter phone screen, which was straightforward and mainly aimed at verifying basic competence. This was followed by a group interview with three members of the Customer Success team. A notable aspect was that the questions seemed designed to discourage me, and the interviewers didn't appear to enjoy their jobs. The role was also heavily presented as a sales-focused position.
- What's your approach to handling challenging customers?
- Could you share some details about your professional history?
- Do you currently manage any of your own clients?
Form Tech Engineer
The interview process involved a phone interview and then an on-site interview in Las Vegas. It started with standard behavioral questions like 'what would you do' and 'how would you approach' scenarios. Things got tricky during the technical part because I wasn't expecting a programming role, thinking it was more about building reports with forms. The technical interview threw a lot of programming questions at me in languages I didn't even know. It seemed like nobody, not the hiring manager or HR, really knew what this job entailed. So, I wasn't surprised they didn't follow up or seem interested because my calls and emails weren't getting returned.
- Tell me about a time you faced a specific situation and what you did.
- Describe your approach to solving a particular problem.
- Can you answer several technical questions about various programming languages?
Marketing Associate
The interview process kicked off with an initial phone call with the Senior Manager. Next, there was a more in-depth interview with the Senior Manager, followed by a panel interview with other Marketing team members. The third stage was a take-home project, and then a final call with the VP of Marketing. I have to say, this was one of the best interview processes I’ve been through. From the first email all the way to the end, I felt informed about everything happening. Everyone I talked to was really nice and seemed genuinely interested in me and my background. It was a great experience overall!
- When faced with numerous projects, what's your approach to prioritizing tasks?
- Given multiple projects, how do you determine which ones need your attention first?
Account Executive
It was 3 interviews in total. First was a brief screening with their recruiter. Very nice, pleasant. 2nd interview was with a sales team leader. I was instructed to make a sales presentation of anything I'd like. This took a few hours of preparation. Then a third interview was with that same team leader with a second team leader in which I made my presentation. I'm not a fan of companies requesting unpaid work from a candidate.
- Can you tell me about your background and experience?
- What transferable skills do you possess?
