We agreed on a salary over the phone, but during a Zoom meeting, the pay suddenly became a point of contention, which felt like gaslighting. Additionally, one of the PMs was late and arrived with Chick-fil-A. I declined the onsite interview invitation due to the unprofessionalism.

So I had 4 interviewers total. The questions they asked were pretty straightforward and made me think. It was a bit intimidating for a junior role to have that many people, but they were all super friendly and easy to talk to. They also made sure I had plenty of chances to ask them stuff.

Applied online, and then got a call from HQ. A couple days later, a senior scientist from the office I applied to reached out. After that, I flew out to their office for a Skype interview with 3 people from HQ, and right after that, I interviewed with 3 people from the local office. They told me I'd hear back by the end of the month, but I got the offer about 2 weeks later.

Had an initial screening phone call that lasted about 30 minutes. We discussed the job and where it's located. The recruiter was nice and professional. Then, I had a panel interview with 8 people, and one of them was really rude with their questions and how they asked them. The panel interview was unstructured. After that, I heard nothing back, not even a rejection email.
