I applied by sending in my resume and a 300-word essay on a topic they gave in the job post. They got back to me pretty fast, and I had a video interview scheduled for the next day. The person I talked to was really nice and just asked about my past writing jobs. I had to complete some security checks and sign an agreement, and then the day after, I could pick a topic and start writing!

This whole process was a mess with so many reschedules and totally bogus reasons given, like the interviewer wasn't available. I sent over 100 emails before we finally had the interview. You get ready, and then they hit you with stuff like, 'Sorry, I was busy putting makeup on my wife.' It was super unprofessional and just not good. A company shouldn't set up interviews and then keep pushing them back. It's not cool and was one of the worst experiences I've had.
