The HR and interviewing team were great - they asked a lot of questions but were very patient and we even had a laugh! Make sure you read up on the company and the job before you come in.

It was a very disorganised assessment centre. It involved a group exercise, a one-on-one interview, and a short task that we had to present back. I was there for 4 hours, and everything was done in one day, which was worrying. A lot of people from recruitment were there observing, which was intimidating. After the interview, I didn't hear anything back, not even a rejection email. I'm angry I wasted 4 hours with no reason given for failing, despite having extensive knowledge of the energy industry with years of experience. Eon didn't provide any reason for not selecting me. It's possible my experience was intimidating to the interviewers from the recruiting department. I sense bias and discrimination at Eon.

It was pretty standard. I had a manager and the VP of Operations interview me. They just kept asking questions back-to-back. They asked about my past jobs and schooling. They also asked about my hobbies and any extracurriculars I did in college.
