Interview started off great, I spoke with 3 different managers, including a regional manager. Was originally told the job paid 42,000 yearly. After 3 interviews, one requiring me to drive 2 hours away, I was offered the job by the lady in HR for 13 dollars an hour. This was quite a bit less than the 42K a year I was told earlier. When I declined the job the lady in HR told me I wasn’t a man of my word because I didn’t take it after I interviewed and sounded interested. I explained that the salary difference was too much from what I was originally told. I called the regional manager to explain that I wasn’t happy with how she spoke to me after she said I wasn’t being a man, and he backed her up. These people expected me to accept a job I was originally told paid 42K by them, for 13 an hour.

The interview process was fair and open, with all questions answered both ways. The company was kind and respectful of my needs. They asked personal questions, which made me feel they cared about me as a person and a team contribution, not just as a worker.

After applying, Whitney called me for a quick chat about the job and what they're looking for, and then we set up a more formal phone interview with the head of HR at corporate. That phone interview was a great talk, going over my background and what a typical day would be like. It seems like a good group of people running things.

Behavioral Technical

You'll get a lot of behavioral questions. Like, tell me about a time you dealt with conflict, or an upset customer, or when sales weren't hitting targets. HR asks the same stuff to everyone, but the DM or VP of Ops will ask their own questions. The VP of Ops tends to ask really old-school questions.
