I had an initial quick call with HR, then a video chat with the hiring manager. HR followed up after the interview to see if I was still interested, share feedback, and discuss what's next. The next step would have been a full day of interviews with the team. Based on the feedback, it seemed the hiring manager wasn't super interested, so I never heard back from Dyno. A quick email saying thanks but no thanks would have been polite.

I had an online submission, and about a week later, I had a call with HR, followed by a video chat with the hiring manager. The HR person was really nice. However, the HM was rude and condescending the whole time. I really think they didn't even look at my resume. They were late to the meeting and didn't let me ask any questions. Maybe they thought they were too smart?

Had an HR meeting and a HM meeting, then an assignment, and then a full day interview. Standard stuff. At every stage there was easy parts and hard parts, but altogether there was nothing that seemed unfair. Really appreciated the transparency at each step.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • For the assignment, focus on doing a few things well but be ready to talk about other ways you could have done it.
  • For the main interview, get ready to answer questions that might go deep into your past work or experiences.
  • The questions felt like they came from a place of real curiosity, not an attempt to pressure you.
