So I had a zoom call, then a little edit test to do, and then another zoom call. They were nice and replied fast, but they decided to hire someone with more experience in the end.

I met with Amanda in their building's conference room after some emails. The questions were pretty open-ended, like asking what made me interested in working with them. I talked about things I liked about the magazine and shared my research from their website, like their focus on promoting greener building materials. Unfortunately, this wasn't enough to capture her interest, as she mentioned hearing similar comments all the time. That was it.

I had a good interview experience. First, I interviewed with the hiring manager. Then, I had another interview with the hiring manager along with the people I would be working with, which included members of my direct team and also team members from other departments that I would be supporting.
