Behavioral Presentation

It's a long interview process, and they're really selective about who they bring on board. Usually, there are three interviews: a screening, a short one, and then a panel interview. On the day of the panel interview, you'll also do a job shadow and get to ask the employee any questions you have.

I applied online for a Medical Role at Avant Communications and had a really good initial call with the recruiter. After that, they sent me a writing assignment that took me a few days to finish because I was doing it after work. I submitted it and had to chase them for feedback. The feedback I got felt nitpicky and rushed, especially since I'd already shared my background. I emailed them back saying the feedback felt unfair, and I haven't heard anything since. I think candidates should be compensated for their time, especially for assignments that take a while. It felt like a waste of time.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process involved many people, which seemed like a waste of company resources that could have gone to employee bonuses. The company constantly advertises for writers, which is a potential red flag. The initial contact was friendly, but their tone shifted as I progressed, likely because I asked for fair compensation. They expressed concerns about my client interaction skills, which I found ironic given it's a strength of mine. Ultimately, I found a better-paying role with greater challenges, and it's fortunate I didn't accept an offer, as this role seemed more suited for recent graduates seeking initial experience before moving on to better opportunities.

Behavioral Other

The hiring manager seemed irritated and their demeanor shifted once they mistakenly thought I had a PharmD based on a misreading of my resume. The recruiter, aware of this, indicated that pharmacy experience would be acceptable. After I submitted a writing assessment, which required over 8 hours to complete, I didn't receive any further communication.
