I applied online and HR reached out quickly. I had a good meeting with the hiring manager. They really liked my resume and said I'd be a great fit. After that, I was asked to make a social media strategy for the brand. I sent over a detailed plan with new ideas and suggestions. It would've been nice to hear back, especially after putting in so much work, but I got no response even after following up. To make things worse, they started using some of my ideas without asking. I used to love DVF, but this experience really changed my mind about them. It was disappointing and unprofessional.

The interview experience was quite uninspired, and it felt like the interviewer wasn't particularly interested in my resume or achievements, even though they seemed to align with the job description. I had reached out to the interviewer before the scheduled time, confirmed the meeting, and then traveled to New York City for the interview. Upon arrival, about 20-30 minutes early, I ended up waiting an additional 15 minutes for the interviewer to show up and begin. The whole thing was over very quickly, maybe five to ten minutes total.

After submitting an online application, I was invited for an interview. It was a group interview held in the lobby with other candidates. The interviewer seemed more concerned with highlighting her own importance than actually interviewing anyone for the job. This experience confirmed the 'snooty' and 'massive ego' reputation I'd heard about DVF in NYC. To top it off, they didn't even have the courtesy to thank us for our time or inform us of our unsuccessful status, which was very poor conduct.
