Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Dunnes Stores.
Sales Assistant
the interview process was very straightforward and felt more like a general conversation than a skill-based assessment. Since I was in college at the time, a lot of the interview focused on that, and it probably took about 15 minutes or less.
- Can you tell me what you're up to in college?
- What's your availability like?
Sales Assistant
It was easy and laid back. They were accommodating with my college schedule and time off. Typical questions came up, nothing too out there. They gave a good description of the job I was applying for and were happy to answer any questions I had. The only drawback is that it can take a while to get started, but the actual process once it gets going is very easy.
- Can you tell me about your previous job?
Sales Assistant
Got a call a little over a week after applying online to set up an interview. The interview itself wasn't too long. They asked basic questions about my background and what I'm good at. They also went over job details like the hours, pay, vacation, uniform, and training. They said they'd let me know if I got the job the same day or the next.
- Have you worked in customer service before?
- Have you worked as part of a team previously?
