First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Dunbia.
Finance Graduate
It was a pretty long interview, lasted about 45 minutes and they asked a lot of questions. It was mostly about teamwork and leadership, but they really wanted specific examples. The interviewer was really friendly and told me to really sell myself. Then, a week later, I got called back to do a presentation on a topic they gave me.
- Can you share an experience where things didn't work out as planned?
- In your opinion, what's the best way to motivate a team?
- What characteristics define a good leader?
Manager
I interviewed with HR and the Factory manager. They asked pretty standard questions, mostly focusing on my previous experience. They wanted to understand my management style, why I applied to their company, and what I could contribute. My impression was that it's a small, family-run business with a 'big company attitude.' Unfortunately, the working conditions didn't meet my expectations.
- Which management style do you think best fits you?
Beef Slaughterer
It was a terrible interview, they didn't really ask any questions. They just kept saying how desperate they were for staff because everyone has left or is leaving. It didn't really fill me with confidence in the place, so I decided to reject the offer of employment.
- When could you start working?
Sales
There were two main stages for the interview. The first stage involved talking with HR and some of the sales team, and the questions weren't too hard. The second stage was tougher because I had to give a presentation to some senior managers.
