First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Dummy.
Software Engineer
We had 3 rounds of interviews, all focused on basic coding output. No HR round happened. The questions were pretty simple, mostly about C++ syntax and figuring out what printf statements would output just by looking at the code, no compilation needed, pure dry run.
- What's the output of the sample code snippets given in the chat during the interview?
- Could you explain basic C++ syntax?
- What would be the output of these printf statements if I ran this C++ code, without compiling it, just by tracing it?
Senior Software Developer
We had a short chat, about 30 words total. It was a really good experience. The whole interview was just one question, which was nice.
- Can you state your name?
Software Developer
The process was explained to me, which is good. The questions were appropriate for the role and of medium difficulty. The interviewer was polite.
- Describe a typical day in this role.
