Data Engineer
The interview was mostly about my experience and cloud services, programming languages, and some other stuff which they did not mention in my resume. After the interview, they said it would take one week for an update, but it's been more than 15 days and I still haven't gotten any update, and they are not even responding.
- Are you seeking sponsorship?
Marketing Coordinator
It was a 3 stage interview process. The first stage was an online interview with the Marketing Manager. The second stage was an interview with both the Marketing Manager and the Director. The final interview was a casual chat and a tour of the office.
- What are your goals for working at DUAL?
Underwriter
Domande generali e prevalentemente a carattere personale, su passate esperienze, etc. Nulla di prettamente tecnico. L’intervista è stata comunque molto “interattiva” nel senso che si è avuto modo di approfondire anche la loro visione di mercato e i loro orientamenti futuri.

Software Engineer
A recruiter reached out and we talked, then I had an interview with the hiring manager. He liked me, so I met the senior developer. He also liked me, so then I met the team. This whole thing took about a month, which was fine given the holidays. Meeting the team went well, but then things really slowed down. A week passed, and the recruiter called to say I was a top candidate and needed 2-3 references. I sent those quickly. She mentioned a decision would be made by the end of that week or early the next. After a week of no news, I followed up, and she said she'd get back to me by Friday. Friday came and went with no response. A few days later, I emailed again to see if I was still being considered, and she apologized, citing vacations and promising a response soon. After a few more days, I got an email saying the role was paused and they'd be in touch when it reopened. I was pretty annoyed they'd wasted two months, got my references, and then paused the role. The kicker is, they reposted it just 12 days later without contacting me, even though their email said they would. I was still interested, so I reached out again, mentioning I saw the role reopened and reiterated my interest, plus that I enjoyed meeting everyone. I was completely ghosted – no reply at all. I find that disrespectful and confusing, especially after investing two months, being told I was a top candidate, and feeling like I had the job. I'm not sure what happened, but I at least deserve an explanation since the role pausing shouldn't affect my candidacy.
