Business Analyst
I got a call from a consultant and my resume was shortlisted after about a month. The first interview was a telephonic with a manager in Australia. It had general profile based questions about my roles & responsibilities. Then, I was asked to complete a case study on a Retail Business Process within 2 days, where I had to create a Business Requirement Document & Software Requirement Document. I put in a lot of effort and submitted it on time. After this, I was selected for the second round directly with the General Manager. This interview was very unprofessional. He again asked about my roles & responsibilities and some project details. The interview finished in 10 minutes and it was obviously a NO, with no feedback given. Overall, it felt like a very unprofessional and time-wasting interview experience.

Associate
I interviewed at a company office 3 times over about a month and a half, first with recruiter, then a VP then two SVP/EVP level types. First interview was a general overview to gauge interest and qualifications, next interview was slightly more detailed with a broker, I asked most of the questions. Final high level interviews seemed to in order to get approval before moving ahead with an offer. I ask lots of questions at each interview and was, at least I think, communicative and engaging. Went well. Come to interviews really knowing what they look for in candidates.
- Why do you think you will succeed in a highly competitive job as this?
Commercial Real Estate Agent
The general manager of the branch asked some basic behavioral questions, mostly to learn about candidates' past experiences, career interests, and personalities. It was a really relaxed interview, and after a few behavioral questions, the discussion shifted to figuring out candidates' career interests and the department that would suit them best. I chose commercial over residential, focusing on office space and industrial properties.
- Tell me about your most significant accomplishment in a student leadership role.
Marketing Intern
This was held on campus for MBA students. The process was clear and smooth. Only 3 students were selected from the pool. The interview was held for a day and the process was a bit hectic. It had a written round and finally a face-to-face round.
- Tell me about yourself.
- What are some marketing theories you know?
