The interview was pretty standard. It was a call on Teams. The questions weren't out of the ordinary, but they were really repetitive. I tried to give different examples, but I had to reuse some of the same stories for later questions. Even the interviewer noticed how repetitive their questions seemed. They did answer my questions pretty well, though. They said I'd hear back after the weekend, but I didn't hear anything for weeks and they didn't reply when I followed up.

The interview process was really quick and easy. It went super well, but I wasn't up for working overtime. They did call back with a counteroffer, but I had already accepted another job that offered more vacation and better benefits.

So I had a one on one interview, which was pretty standard. She did throw in some surprise tests that I managed to pass, and asked the typical interview questions. Her demeanor was a bit off, but I ignored it. I got an offer initially, but then she called back 3 days later saying I didn't get the job due to my CREDIT. It would have been helpful if she'd mentioned upfront that credit would be a factor. I went through a thorough background check for the government and I'm starting next week anyway. My whole point is, this company is way more judgmental than the government, and she was incredibly rude and unprofessional on that follow-up call.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process involved common questions about my experience, and I received details about the job, responsibilities, and current priorities from the Hiring Manager and HR Manager. No behavioral questions were asked. The interviewers were nice and interactive. I don't think I got the job because they didn't proactively follow up with me about their decision. I contacted their Recruiter/HR twice without a response. Their lack of proactive communication about my application status felt unprofessional. Also, their first-year PTO is only 5 days, which is very low for this role compared to other companies.
