So, a recruiter reached out on LinkedIn. Then I had to do this take-home test that was 1.5 hours long. It felt like it was designed so you couldn't possibly finish it all, or you'd have to be some kind of genius. They liked my submission, so I moved on to a virtual 'on-site' which was actually 6 interviews. There were 2 technical interviews, both with average difficulty, 2 architectural ones, 1 behavioral, and then I chatted with my potential manager. I felt pretty good about it all, but after waiting 2 weeks for the hiring committee, I got rejected because they had some vague concerns about how I work with other teams.
