The recruiting process was excessively lengthy and burdensome. It involved a phone screen, a two-hour assessment, four 30-minute interviews, and a 30-minute meet and greet with the executive. Additionally, the requirement for 6 interviews and provide 2-3 references was also excessive. If a six-interview process, including a two-hour assessment, is insufficient to make a hiring decision, the recruiting process is flawed. The recruiter pushed me to provide references saying the executive was likely going to extend an offer. After I provided references, it was complete radio silence for at least 3 days. I eventually emailed the recruiter and told her that I was withdrawing my candidacy. She responded saying thanks and that was it. Overall, the candidate experience was poor.

After submitting my application, I got an email to schedule a Skype interview in under 48 hours. The interviewer explained the role and then asked me questions. She was really nice and listened well. I heard back about my application within a week and got feedback on why I wasn't moving forward (not enough experience in one area). This was really helpful! It seems like a great company that treats its employees well. I wish them luck finding an office manager.

I applied to Dropbox in early October and the whole thing took about two months. After applying, a recruiter got in touch to chat about my background and why I wanted the job. Then, about a week later, I had a 30-minute phone interview. Following that, I was sent a timed assignment, which was a bit of a surprise but they said it was to see how I think. Two weeks later, in early November, I went to their headquarters for an in-person interview with five members of the admin team. They called me the same day to set up another on-site with the Leads I would be working with. Because they travel a lot and had some conferences, it took about two weeks to get that scheduled. Four days after that, my recruiter called to ask for three references and we also talked about salary. I got the offer four days after that and accepted it. I really liked the interview process and meeting everyone; it was the best experience I've had so far, and they were all super welcoming.
