The interview process was great, very smooth. It was a three-part process: first HR, then a technical interview, and finally a technical soft skills interview. Honestly, it was one of the best processes I've experienced. The technical part wasn't just a simple 'write code and get rejected' scenario; it was very in-depth, with every piece of code being questioned and challenged, which I really appreciated.

I was called in for an interview. Right at the start, the interviewer said something like, “we can start, but I’ll tell you why I don’t think you’re right for the job.” He then proceeded to interview me in a dismissive way and never even explained why I wasn't going to be considered. It's frustrating because they called me in, and it felt like a waste of time since they clearly had no intention of hiring me. I wouldn't have accepted an offer even if one was made. Based on this experience, I wouldn't want to work for a company with this kind of culture.

It was a mixed bag, honestly. The first couple of hours with HR and the design lead were fantastic – really felt a connection and the vibe was great. But then the next meeting with a director was a letdown. They barely touched on my actual skills, mostly just personal stuff. It felt like they were trying to screen people out based on hobbies, even making some shady comments about other candidates who liked comic books. After getting a generic rejection email, HR didn't really do much to help when I asked for some feedback.

I was told I'd make it to the fourth round, including a site visit. When I mentioned I was expecting another offer soon, instead of speeding things up, they completely ghosted me, wasting a month of interviews and prep. I learned from the market leader and VP of HUB operations that their Walmart delivery service isn't profitable, doing only 8-12 deliveries weekly. This is happening while they're expanding employees and nationally during uncertain economic times, which isn't great for job security. This isn't the first time they've ghosted me on different roles. Recruiters kept saying I was a good fit, then sent generic rejection emails. It's unclear if this is an HR strategy due to expansion or if they just can't hire good recruiters, but it's a terrible candidate experience.
