The HR representative was very welcoming and provided a fair opportunity, similar to other candidates. They were happy to answer any questions I had, and I left feeling like I had a clear grasp of the role.

It was intimidating at first, the place is enormous and the people were very professional. Once I got into the interview though, not so bad. The first person you meet is kind of like a greeter or receptionist in the corporate offices, then the HR director who introduces you to the manager you will work for who then does the first of 3 interviews. My interview process was a bit less involved because the process has changed since I was hired, when I was hired it was a meet and greet that turned immediately into an interview and then I was immediately hired at the end. Now they do interviews in 2 or 3 stages depending on what store they put you in.

After I applied, I didn't hear back for about a week, so I called and left a message. About another week went by, and then I got a call for a phone interview with the HR Secretary first. Then I met with the HR Rep who immediately set me up to meet the store manager where they were thinking I would be working. Then he arranged for me to meet with the GSM, who had the final decision on whether I got the job.

I talked to three people who worked in different parts of the company. It was a really chill conversation and I didn't feel any pressure. They offered me a job, and I started a few weeks later. It seems like everyone is happy to help if you're open to their suggestions.
