Behavioral

It was a casual chat, but it went on for a while. We talked about my work ethic, and I was asked about my experience during the slow economy back in 2006. They also wanted to know about my dedication to putting in long hours and my willingness to work hard. We touched on my future goals and what I understood about the job description.

Behavioral Technical

I had two interviews. The first was about 20-30 minutes and went well. No crazy questions. Then I was asked to come back to meet a supervisor. This time, I got to ask them questions for about 20 minutes. Finally, I asked if they had any questions for me, and they asked one. They said they'd be in touch super fast, but never contacted me back or even replied to my follow-up. It felt disrespectful since I took time off work and traveled twice for this.

Behavioral Presentation

I met with the VP at one of the restaurants before it opened in the morning. We talked about my resume and experience. He told me a lot about the company, and it really felt like a casual conversation by the end. Later that day, I met with the person who would be training me. They asked more questions about my personality and working style.

Behavioral Other

I went through 3 interviews for the role. The first was with the CEO, and the second was with the director of operations. Both experiences were pleasant. The interviews took place at a restaurant, not in a private setting. After the third interview, I was extended an offer.
