It was a really thorough interview process, though not overly technical. I started with a recruiter, who then connected me with their internal office. After that, I had conversations with several people, including the area Vice President.

You'll have two in-person interviews. After the second interview, you'll typically take eight tests covering computer knowledge, basic math, a personality assessment, and two general home building tests. The whole process isn't too hard if you know your stuff for the job.

Even though my resume wasn't initially selected, I was granted an interview after I found the local corporate office's number and followed up. The interviewer was really professional and thorough, which made the interview feel very relaxed. He clearly explained every part of the job and answered all my questions. I'm really looking forward to working for Drees and learning from him. It's obvious I can gain a lot from this opportunity.

The interview was pretty relaxed and casual. They seemed more focused on my motivation and eagerness to learn and contribute, rather than testing my existing knowledge. Since it was an internship, I figured they understood I wouldn't have a lot of prior experience. They were also flexible with my schedule.
