First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Dreamstyle Remodeling.
Sales Representative
I got a call to talk about the job, and they said they'd set up a time for me to come in and learn more. Then I just got an email saying I didn't get it.
- Would you be comfortable with a 1099 position that pays entirely through commission?
Executive Assistant
I interviewed at their Albuquerque HQ office and it was a pleasant environment. It was a multi-person panel interview where I met with the CEO, treasurer, and various department heads. The company culture is great, and you can tell they really want to maintain that culture when hiring.
- What makes you stand out from other candidates, and what are your strongest skills?
Canvasser Field Manager
I applied for the job via a job board and also mailed my resume with my work history to the owner. The interview had three phone calls with the employer. I was confused by the process because the interviewer kept saying he wanted his Marketing Manager on the phone with me and would call me back in a few days. He called me three times over three weeks, each time saying he would call me back in a few days for a three way call with the Marketing Manager. Usually, about 4 or 5 days later, the same person would call me back, but the Marketing Manager was never on the phone.

Production Coordinator
It was a one on one interview, then the whole team was brought in after they saw I met the qualifications. I was hired on the spot. A week later, I was texted and told they decided to go in a different direction and weren't hiring me! I could have been looking for a job during that time instead of thinking I already had one!
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- What do you consider your strongest attribute?
- And what would you say is your weakest attribute?
