First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Dream Finders Homes.
Underwriter
Totally weird. The recruiter totally dodged straightforward questions and was super shady about salary, wouldn't even give a ballpark. On top of that, they really pushed me to call some 1-800 number to get my application status and do their survey.
- Do you know encompass?
Sales Consultant
The interview process seemed to go really well, starting with an application. A couple months later, there was a face-to-face meeting since they were newer to the area. I didn't get a lot of questions, but I wasn't selected, so maybe that's why.
- Can you describe your current day-to-day responsibilities?
Sales Agent
I had two quick online interviews via Teams, which were convenient and straightforward. The interviewers were friendly and professional, making the conversation feel very natural. The in-person interview followed a similar pattern, taking place in a modern showroom. The atmosphere was again conversational and professional.
- Can you share your previous sales experience?
- Describe how you would manage challenging clients.
Permit Coordinator
I applied online and the hiring manager called me a few days later around 6pm. I called him back the next morning at 9am, but he didn't call back until after 6pm that day. We scheduled an in-person interview for the following day with him and the operations manager. The operations manager in Orlando is a joke and really embodies the micro-manager stereotype that many reviews for this company mention. Some of the questions he asked were borderline discriminatory.
- Are you and your wife planning on having children in the near future?
