Software Development Engineer
The interview process started with an online assessment that included coding problems and multiple-choice questions. After that, there were two rounds of technical interviews and one HR round. All of these were basically screening rounds, and I got this opportunity through on-campus placements.
- Can you tell me about your resume?
- Can you tell me about the projects you have listed?
Software Engineer
Got a call and then an online f2f interview was set for the next day. The interviewer was late. Had to cancel my other meetings for this. The interview was mainly DSA questions. I solved them easily, but the interviewer seemed to want them solved in a specific way. I handled their subsequent questions too. Then it was my turn to ask questions about the role. Turns out it's a web scraper job, which I was excited about using my DSA skills. The pay is the same as a data engineer. The teammates seem arrogant, so I imagine the job would be worse. Avoid. Pay is bad.
- Could you explain the difference between numpy and list data structures?
Software Engineer
So, first I had this online test with technical questions covering ds and algorithms and coding. Then, there were two rounds of technical interviews, and finally an hr round. The first tech interview was about 35 min long, and the second one was for about 45-50 min.
- Could you explain machine learning concepts like accuracy, precision, recall, and f1 score?
- Tell me about your experience with NLP, GPT-2, and transformer models.
- What are your thoughts on machine learning algorithms such as SVM, KNN, and random forests?
