First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Dr. Tavel.
Office Manager
I was called into the office for my first interview to meet with the manager. They used a worksheet with questions and after that, we discussed coming in to shadow someone to see if I would be interested in the job. I liked that it gave me a chance to see how the office really worked. On a different day, I came back to do that and meet with the higher up manager. The questions were a bit tougher, focusing a lot on values and asking for examples of past experiences.
- Can you tell me what integrity means to you?
Optician
I had a chill, chatty phone interview with HR. After that, I had an in person interview with the store manager and district manager on zoom. They asked typical interview questions and were surprised I had so many questions for them.
- Can you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses?
Technician
The interview process was short and to the point, very tactical, not obtrusive, not detailed, etc... this is second hand information mostly as i do not have much other information. i just know they are very decent to their employees
- What is your experience duration in a similar position?
Director of Human Resources
The interview process was organized, well-communicated, and helpful. I learned a lot about the company and enjoyed the culture they have established and strive for. The process was seamless.
- Describe a past situation and how you handled it based on your behavior style.
