First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at DP Technology Corp..
Applications Engineer
The HR contact was very nice and quick to reply. The first two interview stages went great, including the interview with the hiring manager, who was based overseas. But then we got to the Italian team, and it was a total surprise! Even though my CV and all my previous interviews made it clear that I have limited experience with CAE and am eager to learn, the Italian team wanted someone who was already an expert. The other teams, however, were happy to train someone. So, there was a big disconnect between the people involved. Honestly, it felt like a huge waste of my time.

Marketing
I put my application in through LinkedIn and heard back from the hiring manager a few weeks later. We had one phone screen, then an in-person interview with the hiring manager, followed by a video call with an executive, and finally, an off-site lunch with two colleagues from related departments. The whole thing moved pretty fast and was pretty efficient, and I liked that I talked to my manager for most of it. Before the in-person interview, there was a short personality test with just 2 questions, which I guess you shouldn't stress too much about; it wasn't even brought up in my interviews. Everyone on the DP team I met was really nice and respectful and a good representation of the company. No big egos, no tricky questions, which was actually a nice change. Now, as a DP hiring manager myself, I'm looking forward to making the interview and onboarding process even better for new people.

Marketing Specialist
Super easy process. I applied for application engineer role online and a few days later I was contacted about a different role they thought I was a better fit for. I interviewed the next day. The interview consisted of taking the Wonderlic and then a one on one interview, which lasted about an hour and a half. I was offered the job the following Monday. My role is technically Marketing Specialist, but I actually work in inside sales. So I interviewed with the inside sales manager. My manager was cool and let me start a month after my son was born and has been really flexible with working from home and other things.

Marketing Communications Writer
The interview process was a grueling four-hour marathon with no breaks, involving constant questioning. It was long, tedious, and I never really got a clear picture of my day-to-day responsibilities. The marketing director was absent for most of it. My application was submitted in January 2015, but the interview didn't happen until June. After the interview, the marketing director mentioned he'd let me know his decision after returning from a month-long trip to Europe. I didn't grasp the overall marketing strategy or objectives, nor did I feel any team camaraderie, making it hard to imagine receiving support in the role.
