Doxim Interview Questions
& Process

There were 3 interview rounds. First was with the hiring manager, then a technical case study, and the final round was with the VP of Sales. They ask basic questions and respond quickly.

It was the longest, most demanding interview process ever, and I mean that in a good way! They really wanted to ensure they hired the right fit. First, a recruiter reached out and did a pre-screen, liked me, and sent me to Doxim's first step. Then, I had a phone call with the VP of Sales, followed by a video call with the same VP. After that, they flew me to their head office in Markham, ON, for a 4-hour intensive meeting with the team. During this meeting, I had to create and present a slideshow about the Doxim product. I was super nervous, but it turned out to be a test to see if I could understand their product. We ended up having a really great, deep conversation about life, work, and everything in between. Since it went so well, they had me take a personality test and an IQ test. Both were fun and pretty easy if you used logic and were honest. I got the offer just before Christmas and have been happily growing with the company since.

It took a few weeks for the hiring manager to show interest and schedule a phone interview. Then, HR had me complete personality and aptitude tests. After that, they didn't respond to my follow-ups for a while. I had to call and leave a voicemail, and then HR emailed me saying they'd let me know their decision on moving me forward. So, they won't even tell me if I'm rejected after I spent 3-4 hours on this job. I still don't know their decision unless I follow up.

I applied on the company's website and got a call from HR pretty quickly to set up the first interview. First up was a 30-minute chat with HR where they asked about my experience, why I want this job, and what I expect to make. Then, I had a 1-hour technical interview over Zoom. They gave me two coding challenges involving arrays and dynamic programming, and I had to talk about the time and space complexity of my code. I felt pretty good about that part 'cause I'd been practicing on LeetCode. After that, I talked to a team lead for a behavioral interview. We discussed how I deal with tight deadlines and team collaboration, and I gave examples from my past. They seemed curious about my problem-solving and teamwork approach. They got back to me in a few days with an offer. They liked my tech skills but said I could improve how I explain my thinking.
