First, there was an intro interview with HR or a recruiter. They wanted to see if I was a good cultural fit and get a sense of my general experience and knowledge. After that, there was a panel interview with 3-4 people from the company, including a department leader and members of the technical team. They mostly asked behavioral questions to gauge my technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills. The whole thing took a bit over a month.

Technical Behavioral

The interview took 4 days and involved talking to many different groups to see where you would fit best. It feels like they set you up for success by letting you interview with lots of teams. It's tiring but worth it. They ask a mix of technical questions and soft skills questions (like asking for a teamwork example). People with all sorts of backgrounds work there, so don't worry if your background isn't a perfect match. They really just want to see if you can think critically and solve problems well.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • What would you do if presented with a hypothetical scenario or challenge?
  • Can you provide an example of a time you worked effectively in a team?

Technical Behavioral Presentation

I was referred by a consultancy for this role. The first round was a phone interview with very few, easy technical questions. After that, I was asked to visit DOW’s office for in-person rounds. During this round, I mostly asked questions about the job roles and the position. The next two rounds were client interaction, mainly based on process-related questions.

  • Have you performed X task before?
  • How would you manage a situation like this?
