I was interviewed by 6 people who all took turns asking me questions. I had a copy of the questions in front of me as did everyone else. Most were writing down my answers as I gave them. It threw me off being interviewed by so many people with such long job titles. Everyone was nice but I felt strung along. After this interview I did another phone interview and was told they would follow up but never did. Would have been nice if they had let me know earlier I wasn't their ideal candidate.

I interviewed with 2 administrators and the Dept. Chair. There were about 15 questions asked as they went around the table. We were in the main office conference room with projector. I was able to project my art portfolio as I was talking about my personal experience as an artist and as a teacher. To prepare for the interview, I spent time talking with other teachers, talking about teaching philosophy and strategies. I compiled my work in a digital portfolio so that I knew I had a visual display for the actual interview to support my answers. Overall, I felt that the interview was smooth and to the point.

The interview process was very straightforward. I had an in-person meeting with the team. The questions they asked were good, and they tailored them to my specific skill set and relevant experience. The team was very approachable and indicated they would consider my professional experience outside of development as a valuable asset.
