Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at DoorLoop.
Account Executive
The interview process seemed pretty standard. I first met with the sales manager over Zoom, and then I came in for another interview in person. Overall, it was a good experience.
- Why should we hire you?
Account Executive
I applied for the Account Executive role at DoorLoop and was initially excited. However, communication issues really hurt the experience. After the first few chats, I had to wait ages for updates and responses. Completing a sales assessment that took hours and then hearing nothing felt like a slap in the face. This poor communication made me less enthusiastic, even though I still think the role and product are great. I hope they fix their recruiting communication.
- Can you commit to being onsite daily?
Account Executive
This hiring process was extremely cumbersome and a waste of candidate time. Leadership clearly thinks very highly of themselves. They ask you to complete an intelligence test for what is essentially a transactional, low hanging fruit sales role. Algebra and geometry have nothing to do with this role, and it's not an architecture position. This is an entry level inbound sales role with a fancy title. As other reviewers have mentioned, they ask you to complete a bunch of tests prior to even officially interviewing. The hiring process is reflective of company culture, and I would be surprised if half of these reviews were actually legit.
