First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Doodle Bugs! Children's Learning Academy.
Human Resources Generalist
After applying online, I was quickly scheduled for an interview. I interviewed with two members of the team where we went over my relevant experience and the expectations of the role. I heard back within a day with next steps.
- How do you think you could contribute to our team?
- What motivated you to apply to work at Doodle Bugs?
Teacher's Assistant
It was my very first job, and the process included a single in-person interview, after which I was offered the position. They asked me about my background in looking after children, and I mentioned my experience babysitting for family friends.
- How long have you been taking care of kids?
Assistant Teacher
First, I was given a job description to read and sign. Then the director came in and introduced herself and asked a few questions. After that, someone else came in to finish the interview. No tour of the facility was given, and they didn't go into detail on how they perform the daily functions.
- What makes you want to join our organization?
Assistant Teacher
The interview process felt very professional yet also welcoming. I spoke with the franchise owner who was organized and ready. It felt more like a natural chat than just going over my resume. I discussed my background and expanded on some points from my resume. The interviewer was really nice and paid attention. It was honestly one of the nicest interviews I've had! The next day, I came back to shadow lead teachers for about 40 minutes and then met with the assistant director. I updated them on my past experience and answered a few more questions. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming, and it really seemed like the employees enjoyed their jobs.
- What would you say is your biggest strength to bring into a classroom?
- Tell me about the toughest challenge you've encountered when working with kids.
